For the City of Bay Village, the mission of The Bay Village Tree Conservancy, Inc. is to educate citizens, businesses and community members on the value and benefit of tree preservation and the importance of stewardship; encourage care and maintenance of existing trees and habitat; locate significant trees for revitalization and identify sites for new tree plantings; advocate for funding and policies to help integrate tree protection into community planning; encourage and support public-private partnerships to protect and augment community trees, forest and related habitats.

This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
